Brett.HoffmanOriginally a Sacramento native, I grew up playing sports and adventuring in the Arcade Creeks. While I was pursuing a degree at Roosevelt University, IL, in Sustainability Studies , I became aware of environmental destruction and how that destruction evolves into human unhappiness in large urban areas.

I saw a huge solution to this destruction through the benefits of local/organic food. He ended up working at an Organic Food Co-Op/Urban Farm in Fort Worth, Texas. Brett now volunteers with Yisreal Family Urban Farm, teaching those in a food desert how to grow their own food and connect back with nature. He currently works for the City of Sacramento as a Water Conservation Representative.
