Lindsay is a California native and has been involved in water policy advocacy since 2012.  She has worked with groups such as Butte Environmental Council, Altacal Audubon Society, the Sacramento Preservation Trust, and is excited about the opportunity to advocate for rivers statewide, with Friends of the River.

Lindsay comes to us with a strong background in conservation ecology, outdoor education, and water policy. Lindsay graduated from Chico State’s Biological Science program in 2013 after spending her undergraduate years leading the Hands on Science Lab, surveying the Western Pond Turtle, and studying rainforest conservation at her (other) beloved alma mater, the Universidad de Costa Rica.

Lindsay currently works for Gallaway Enterprises as a Biologist and leads ecotours and summer camps with Sacramento River Ecotours. Her home watershed is the Feather River and she currently lives along the Sacramento River.
