Summary: SB 1199 would designate portions of the Mokelumne River as Wild, Scenic or Recreational.  Current dams and other projects on the river would be unaffected.

Status/History: SB 1199 was passed by the Senate on May 29, 2014

SB 1199 was read for a third time and amended on May 28, 2014

SB 1199 was read for a second time and amended on May 20, 2014

SB 1199 was deemed to have no significant fiscal impact by the Senate Appropriations Committee and was therefore not heard.  It was instead sent directly to the Senate Floor. 

SB 1199 was read for a second time, amended and re-referred to the Senate Appropriations Committee on May 6, 2014.  The hearing is scheduled for May 19, 2014

SB 1199 was passed by the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water and re-referred to the Senate Appropriations Committee on Aprl 29, 2014

SB 1199 was re-referred to the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Water on April 10, 2014.  The hearing is scheduled for April 29, 2014

SB 1199 was withdrawn from committee and re-referred to the Senate Committee on Rules on April 7, 2014

SB 1199 was amended to reflect its current objective and re-referred to the Senate Committee on Governance and Finance on April 3, 2014
