River Camp
May 2-4, 2010 (Sunday - Tuesday)
Raft the Tuolumne River with All Outdoors and special guests

Join us for River Camp a three day expedition style Tuolumne River rafting trip with plenty of times for campfires, hikes up side canyons, star gazing, enjoying the river and hearing about the conservation work and history of Friends of the River.
We’ll have the river almost entirely to ourselves! The Class IV-V rapids are hard to beat plus we’ll be joined by 5 members of the Friends of the River board and important FOR conservation pros – including Ron Stork, and possibly Mark Dubois. You’ll hear about the history of the battles for the ‘T’ and the Stan from the people who were there.
Around the evening campfire hear your fellow rafter's stories of paths less travelled in Northern California and learn more about FOR’s work around the state and our plans for California’s water future. There may just be some good wine and stories about the big ones that got away and the flipping of rafts in precarious places.
Click here to see All Outdoors' description of the Tuolumne River trip. Special thanks to All Outdoors who is donating their time and equipment for this trip.
The cost per member is all-inclusive (approximately) $500.
To find out more about this trip email FOR's Executive Director, Paul Tebbel.

Friends of the River understands that many of our members may not have the time or the budget for this special once-a-year outing. We have many other opportunities to join us on the river. Please check our Member Outings page to see the listing of other FOR trips available.
