California Rivers Festival

BECOME A SPONSOR
Our goals for this annual event are to:
- raise awareness about the value of rivers and the work of Friends of the River;
- provide an opportunity for whitewater enthusiasts to get together and celebrate the beauty and magic ofrivers;
- and raise money to support the river conservation and water policy reform efforts of Friends of the River.
You may be familiar with FOR’s annual swap meet and river festival. Recently the FOR rafting community suggested we move the annual gear swap from late to early spring, so as to attract a larger boating community to the festival. To accommodate this, we have officially changed the timing, name, and location for the event. We are now calling it the California Rivers Festival. We will still run the successful gear swap, silent auction and the venue is superb for that rain or shine.
We also have access to several rooms for films, discussions and presentations, and most importantly, we have an entire gymnasium for sponsors, vendors, nonprofit organizations, and anyone with an environmental bent. Booth spaces will be available for any size vendor. There will be great food.
As the date approaches and its coming fast, we encourage your company to sponsor this river festival by donating outdoor gear for the live and silent auction. This is a great way of exposing your range of products to the Northern California river lovers-while supporting the rivers we all love and enjoy. Friends of the River is a 501 (c) 3 organization and your cash or gear donation will be completely tax deductible. Recognition of your donation is listed in the enclosed sponsor form.
